Terms of Use
By creating a workspace or using Uptimer services, you agree to use the platform lawfully, keep credentials secure, and avoid abusive traffic or attempts to disrupt service integrity.
You remain responsible for monitor targets, alerting destinations, and the content/data you submit. Service availability targets, billing obligations, and enterprise commitments are governed by your plan and any executed commercial agreement.
Uptimer may suspend or terminate access for security abuse, fraud, or material policy violation. Continued use after policy updates constitutes acceptance of revised terms.
All platform software, models, documentation, branding, and site content remain the intellectual property of Uptimer and its licensors. Except where required by law or explicitly granted in writing, you may not copy, reverse engineer, resell, redistribute, or create derivative commercial services from Uptimer.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Uptimer is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We disclaim implied warranties including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Uptimer and its operators are not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, punitive, exemplary, or special damages, including loss of revenue, data, goodwill, or business interruption.
You agree to defend and indemnify Uptimer, its operators, and affiliates against claims, losses, damages, liabilities, and costs arising from your misuse of the service, violation of law, or breach of these notices.
Privacy and GDPR Notice
Uptimer processes account identifiers (for example username and email), workspace configuration, monitor metadata, check outcomes, notification delivery logs, and audit/security records needed to operate and secure the service.
GDPR legal bases include contract performance (service delivery), legitimate interests (service security, abuse prevention, reliability), and legal obligation where required (for example compliance investigations). For Uptimer Cloud, account and billing records are processed as controller data; tenant operational data is handled to provide the contracted monitoring service.
You may request access, correction, export, restriction, or deletion of personal data subject to legal and security retention requirements. DSAR and incident response workflows are documented in the compliance runbooks.
Uptimer also captures service traffic telemetry for reliability and abuse detection using anonymized, aggregate request metadata. This telemetry is processed under legitimate interests (GDPR/UK GDPR Art. 6(1)(f)) and data minimization principles: we do not store IP addresses, user-agent strings, cookies, full URLs, or direct user identifiers for this traffic dataset.
Site Traffic Telemetry (Anonymous)
To operate securely and reliably, Uptimer records high-level request telemetry such as timestamp, coarse route category (for example page/api/auth/public), HTTP status class, and response time. Data is aggregated for operational insight and does not profile individual users.
Traffic telemetry is secured in transit by TLS and protected by platform access controls. Access is restricted to authorized operations personnel (for example Super Admin workflows) and used only for service health, performance analysis, abuse detection, and incident response.
This telemetry is not used for advertising or cross-site tracking and does not require optional analytics cookies. Cookie consent choices for optional cookies continue to be respected independently.
Security and Regulatory Compliance Statement
Uptimer is engineered with layered administrative, technical, and operational controls designed to protect confidentiality, integrity, and availability. Controls include strict access management, authentication protection, audit logging, abuse detection, monitoring, and incident response procedures.
We have taken rigorous steps to reduce security and privacy risk, including data minimization, retention controls, defensive coding practices, and environment hardening aligned with modern security expectations. These controls are reviewed and improved as the platform evolves.
Uptimer is built to support compliance obligations (including privacy and data-protection workflows), but customer organizations remain responsible for their own legal obligations, lawful basis, notices, contractual terms, and jurisdiction-specific requirements.
No internet-connected service can guarantee absolute security or uninterrupted availability. Uptimer applies commercially reasonable efforts to protect service and data, without representing or warranting zero risk.
AI Usage Disclaimer
Uptimer includes AI-assisted features that produce summaries, classifications, forecasts, and operational guidance from telemetry. AI features are informational support tools and do not replace professional legal, compliance, security, or incident-response advice. You are responsible for all decisions and actions taken using AI-assisted output.
